We’re in the same boat. Work stuff, research, reading, etc.

It took me quite a while to sort out my day schedules to make that work. And still when things happen like getting stuck somewhere for two months during a hard raining season, screen time goes up a lot, and I end up with a whole lot of ciliary spasm and distance vision starts to feel strenuous.

Being aware of what seems to be going on helps quite a bit though in reducing the effects – if getting away from screens is feasible.
