    Hi Jake,

Good Morning. How are you ?

I have been having difficulty in making my daughter follow the Program. She started and followed efficiently for an year and half at the beginning. After that, I had difficulty making her do active focus as she convinced me saying she did active focus anyway at school as she was trying to see the Class room boards. I thought she was doing active focus and kept reducing .25. Looks like she hasn’t been doing active focus except her class room trial to look for clarity and now she is at a stage where she is telling she cant’ see the board but a much reduced normalised/differential. How can I go back and to what diaopter should I go back and follow the instructions correctly or start again. Below are the diaopter that was changed.

    6.5 5.25 Normalised 18/04/2019
    5.25 4 Differential 18/05/2019
    6.25 5 Normalised 18/07/2019 20-25-30/06/19
    5 3.75 Differential 18/08/2019 20-25-30/07/19
    6 4.75 Normalised 28/09/2019 20-25-30/08/2019
    4.75 3.5 Differential 25/10/2019 20-25-30/09/2019
    5.75 4.5 Normalised 21/12/2019 20-25-30/10/2019
    4.5 3.25 Differential 12/01/2020 20-25-30/11/2019
    5.5 4.25 Normalised 15/03/2020 20-25-30/12/2019
    4.25 3 Differential 18/04/2020 20-25-30/1/2020
    5.25 4 Normalised 06/06/2020 20-25-30/2/2020
    4 2.75 Differential 10/07/2020 20-25-30/3/2020
    5 3.75 Normalised 30/08/2020 20-25-30/4/2020
    3.75 2.5 Differential 20/09/2020 20-25-30/5/2020
    4.75 3.5 Normalised 12/12/2020
    3.5 2.25 Differential 01/02/2021 29/01/2021
    4.5 3.25 Normalised 01/06/2021 20/03/2021
    3.25 2 Differential 15/07/2021 01/05/2021
She started of with 6.5/5.25 N,5.25/4D and currently wearing 4.5/3.25N, 3.25/2D but having lots of difficulty seeing the board.

To which diapoter should I bring her back and start following the program correctly. Also how to go about increasing diapoter

    Thanks & Regards
    Rajesh

Well … that sounds like much more a parenting thing than an eye thing! 😉

The first questions really should be why she’s not into it and what to do to make her interested. The diopters, very much secondary after that.

Also after two years experience I would very much expect you to be able to at least suggest what diopters you think she needs. This is very difficult for me to answer, not being there, having any measurement log or data whatsoever, really nothing to go on here.

Feel free to suggest what you would do and why, I’ll be happy to review.
