Yes at -5 index makes a quite big difference. The higher the diopter, the more it matters. You can look up index recommendations online, or follow online sellers suggestions.

Higher index = nicer image, but more price. Sine you won’t use them super long, it’s always a bit of a tradeoff. Once you experiment once or twice you’ll find what works well.

Below -2 you can get away with the 1.50 index just fine. 🙂

Yes for anti reflective. Scratch probably less important, UV coating should be on all lenses. I don’t know that any are even anti reflective but not UV coated. Either way those options should be no more than a few dollars.
