Following the course session, wear normal distance glasses for everything besides your close-up work.
If the effect is rapidly decreasing, continue using them. Take plenty of breaks.
You just made a very simple 1 diopter reduction so technically there shouldn’t be anything to annoy your visual cortex / brain in this change. 🙂
Also possibly try starting off some screen use without any correction. Ideally just reading something, nothing requiring additional challenge. See how far you can push the screen away and still read. No strain just casually and for maybe 10-15 minutes at most. Then add the differentials, enjoy the additional clarity. May help.
