My current pair will be comfortable unless there’s a heavy overcast day with 500 lux outside combined with a bad day DTB-wise. The reason I’m considering bumping SPH by another 0.25 is that after such a long time with persistent ghosting I suspect that I need to remove almost all of the blur challenge to make progress on it.
I’ve been doing the alarm lock in a dark room exercise for a year. Not every day but maybe 4-5 times a week in periods.
By doing that I can temporarily fuse vertical ghosting (not all of the horizontal ghosting). It’s very temporary though and reverts 5-10 minutes later.
I’ve been looking at a red digital clock from 3 meters away. I could try a candle instead. Maybe increase the distance and see if there’s a different response.
