Another option.

I went to an optometrist that is at a walking distance from my home. I didn’t pay for an exam or anything, I just talked to the receptionist. They offer glasses for “computer use”, which pretty much are differentials. I’m not sure how exactly they measure to arrive at a differential prescription. I could get an eye exam there for 85 dollars. That way, I can get a distance prescription as well as the differential prescription. The distance prescription I don’t have to actually purchase if you think that I should wait for my normalized. I’m just thinking about how my current “distance” glasses allow me to see only 20/70 and blurry 20/50.

But I’d like to know if you think this is a good idea or I should do something else.

I’m working on the cm measurements with glasses.
